The
Seto Inland Sea region enjoys an easy environment for swimming,
where dry land is never far away, the sea is blessed with gentle
waves and the current constantly refreshes the water which laps
onto the sandy beaches. This same current, however, can lead
the swimmer to sharp coastlines - remember to stay within the
bays! |
These
bays consist of beautiful natural inlets, with white sand and
pine trees, and also some amazing man-made, well-organized beach
resorts. While enjoying these facilities, you can relax knowing
that the area enjoys a relatively warm climate, low rainfall
and clear skies during summer. Be warned, though - the late
summer brings stinging jellyfish to the shores, something you
may want to keep in mind when scheduling your beach trip!
Other points to bear in mind - some facilities such as showers
are only available during the peak summer months, and camping
is only allowed in designated sites. Also, there are no topless
/ nudist facilities. |
